Hello, my name is Sacha. Thank you for visiting my site!

My background is in Child and Youth Care. I went to school at Medicine Hat college and gratuated in 2010. The day after walking the stage, I moved to Vancouver Island. 

​

When I was completing schooling in Alberta, I worked with children who had various behavior challenges. These included children on the autism spectrum, children with learning disabilities and children dealing with adversity. I also took one year of the American Sign Language course offered at our college. During my last year, I worked part time as a Recreational Youth Worker. When I moved to Vancouver Island, I got a relief position with the Victoria Youth Empowerment Society. After two years of working for the agency on call/part time, I secured a full time position and worked up until I was pregnant.

While I was on maternity leave there were many new things to think about, things to plan around and things that had to change. After a little soul searching I realized that while working with a teenage population had its rewards, I missed working with children. I decided to look into what it took to open a licenced daycare. While it seemed daunting, I felt like it was something I could see myself doing. My husband and I bought our first home with the daycare in mind. After five years of non-profit work, I am thrilled to start my own business.
